About Me

I graduated from Coffee County Central High school in 2003. I then went to Freed-Hardeman University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education K-6 and a minor in Spanish. During my undergrad, I did a study abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico and learned to speak Spanish pretty well. As such, I sometimes serve as a Spanish interpreter for Spanish speaking parents. In 2011, I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Masters of Education in English Language Learners.

Sometimes people ask me what I teach- I teach students who speak another language at home and help them with their English skills.

I married my husband Luke in 2014 and we have two children, Olivia and Sam. I am a member of the New Union Church of Christ and the Coffee County Education Association.
